WACO SURF RULES

- Children should not be left unattended.
- Absolutely no glass permitted on the Waco Surf property.
- No guns, knives or weapons of any kind are permitted on property.
- Lifejacket required for guests 52 inches and under.
- All guests must have signed the waiver prior to use of any attraction.
- Zero tolerance for underage drinking
- Guests must follow directions given by staff at all times.
- Abusive or profane language towards guests or staff will not be tolerated.
- Must have a valid, physical ID and be over 21 years of age to consume alcohol on site.
- Swim diapers are required for all diaper dependent guests.
- Drones are not permitted.
- No littering.
- Waco surf is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
- Music must be “clean versions” and not be excessive in volume.
- Dogs are allowed in the Cable Park area and Cabins, but must remain on a leash at all times. Service animals are permitted throughout the park, but must be clearly marked and not enter any body of water at the facility. Staff reserves the right to inquire as to what work the service animal is trained to do.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all bodies of water. Respect all guests and find an empty space to smoke.
Offensive or graphic imagery or obscene language on clothing, accessories or in tattoos will not be tolerated. Having any offensive or graphic imagery, or obscene language found on any items or in any tattoos will result in the immediate removal from our property.

- Every rider must have their own tube.
- No string or ropes allowed.

- No jumping out of the lazy river, stay in your stube at all times.
- All trash must be placed in trash bins along the river.
- Swim diapers are required for all diaper dependent guests.
- Pregnant people must consult a doctor/physician before use.

- Music must be “clean versions” and not be excessive in volume.
- Do not use the lazy river if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all bodies of water. Respect all guests and find an empty space to smoke.

- Riders must be 44 inches or taller.
- All guests must wear life jackets regardless of height, age or swim ability.
- Riders must wait for the attendant’s count down signal before starting the ride.
- Keep arms, hands, legs and feet inside the rails at all times.
- Leave the landing zone quickly.
- No loose articles of clothing. Any lost items in the landing zone will be retrieved (if possible) after park closing time.
- Garments with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets or metal ornamentations are not permitted.
- Only one rider to enter slide at a time.
- No jumping off handrails.
- Do not enter the ride if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Swim diapers are required for all diaper dependent guests.

- Children under 14 years old must have adult supervision.
- Individual stay of no longer than 20 minutes.
- Please enter and exit the hot tub slowly.
- No glass permitted.
- No jumping or diving.
- Swim diapers are required for all diaper dependent guests.
- Elderly persons must consult a doctor/physician before use.
- Do not enter if the water temperature exceeds 104 fahrenheit.
- Do not enter the hot tub if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
- Pregnant people must consult a doctor/physician before use.
- All guests must have signed the waiver prior to use of any attraction.
- Do not use the hot tub if you have been ill with diarrhea within the past 2 weeks.
- Changing diapers within 6 feet of the pool is prohibited.
- Extended breath holding activities are dangerous and prohibited.
- Smoking is strictly prohibited in all bodies of water. Respect all guests and find an empty space to smoke.

- Let the staff know if it is your first time, and if you would like assistance.
- Absolutely no glass permitted on the Waco Surf property.
- You must be able to swim.
- If you fall, look back immediately and avoid rivers and ropes. Swim immediately towards the closest shore or dock before removing your equipment. Duck under water if you cannot avoid an oncoming rider or handle.
- Form one line on the dock, unless unstructured otherwise by staff.
- Always ride between corner buoys. Let go anytime you can’t make it in between the corner buoys.
- Exit between the white buoys before the motor tower, not by the starting dock.
- No deep water starts are allowed. If cable stops, let go and swim towards the outside shoreline or dock, never to the center of the cable.
- Hold handle with your nerds. Never put the handle between your legs, around your neck, or put your arm through the handle.
- No power tricks on the corners, allow your carrier to pass the pulley before you initiate the trick.
- If you fall or lose your equipment, let go immediately.
- No foul language
- No doubles.
- Dock area is for riders only. You must have a valid wristband to be in the starting area.
- Only use the cable park if you are in good health. And have no pre-existing medical condition(s) that impair your ability to practice in this high risk sport
- In case of an emergency, call 911.
- Look out for fallen riders or other features. Leave as much space as possible between you and fallen riders as you pass. To avoid collision, let go of the handle and let yourself fall.
- Marine lifeforms, bacteria and microorganisms can be present in any fresh water body. We recommend using nose clips.
- No swimming or diving in the cable park lake.
- Drones are not permitted.
- All riders must wear a USCG rated life jacket and helmet
- All guests must have signed the waiver prior to use of any attraction.
- Do not climb cable towers.
- Exit to the outside of the cable. DO NOT venture/walk onto the island.

- Water features are intended for experienced riders only. Inspect before using.
- The park is not responsible for damage to your board or body as a result of using features.
- No metal fins allowed on features
- Do not attempt to hit a feature if a fallen rider is nearby, always scope out your landing.
- Only designated rental boards are allowed on features.

- Only scheduled surfers are allowed past the second concrete ridge.
- All guests in the surf lagoon require a flotation device. Either a USCG certified life jacket or leash attached to board is required.

- If you fall off a wave, move out of the way quickly, making sure to take your equipment with you.
- To get back to the break where you take off, paddle towards the wall and take the current back to your starting spot.
- No jumping or diving from the wall.

- Minimum Age Requirement: You must be at least 21 yrs. of age to rent any accommodations. Proof of age is required at check-in.
- Incidentals: The credit card provided at check-in will also be used to cover the cost of incidentals, lost furnishing, or any property damage. This card will be authorized for $100 per day up to $300 during your stay. Funds will be released following your departure and may take 5-7 days to be released by your credit card company.
- Cancellations: Refunds for individual bookings are only provided for cancellations made by 3:00pm Central Time (2) calendar days prior to arrival. Stay and Surf package guests must refer to the Stay and Surf policy regarding cancellation timelines.
- Loss of personal items: Lodging guests acknowledge and understand that each guest, or guardian, is solely responsible for any loss by any person while in residence including the loss of money, jewelry, or any other personal items. We will do our very best to return any lost or forgotten items, at the guest’s expense.
- Furnishings, equipment etc.: Moving or removal of any furniture, decor or linens is not allowed for ANY reason. This includes moving indoor furniture outside. Furniture, bedding, linens, towels, utensils, or any other property belonging to Waco Surf that is broken or goes missing during your stay will be charged at our replacement cost.
- Property damage: Lodging guest acknowledges and understands that he/she is financially responsible for any and all property damage that may occur during the stated rental period which can reasonably be attributed to the rental party’s negligence or abuse. If you are staying in a keyed accommodation, the lost key fee is $25 – all keys must be returned at time of check out, or this fee will be applied.
- Check In/Check Out Times: The check-in time for all resort accommodations is no earlier than 3:00 PM. Check-out time is no later than 11:00 AM. Early check-in and late checkout is strictly based on availability and can be extended for an additional $50 charge.
- No Smoking: All lodging is strictly non-smoking. If smoke is detected in any lodging unit, an additional $350 smoking fee will be charged to the credit card on file.
- Pets: Only (1) pet (dog) is allowed per cabin. No other animals are permitted. Absolutely no animals are permitted in the hotel rooms. All dogs must be trained and leashed at all times. Dogs are permitted only in the areas surrounding the cabins and cable park but are not allowed and not near the surf, water slides or pro shops. Owners shall pay an additional $150 cleaning fee at time of check-in and will be charged for any pet damage to furniture or fixtures.
- Guest Count: Guest count shall not exceed the occupancy limit per accommodation. For cabins only, Waco Surf will allow up to (2) guests that can be accommodated on cots or couches for an additional $25 per guest per night.
