Rules

General Park Rules

  1. Children may not be left unattended.
  2. Absolutely no glass allowed anywhere on Waco Surf property.
  3. No guns, knives, or weapons of any kind.
  4. Life jackets required for guests 52″ and under.
  5. All guests must sign the waiver before using any attraction.
  6. Zero tolerance for underage drinking.
  7. Guests must follow all staff instructions at all times.
  8. Abusive or profane language toward guests or staff will not be tolerated.
  9. Must have a valid, physical ID and be 21+ to consume alcohol on site.
  10. Swim diapers required for all diaper-dependent guests.
  11. No drones permitted.
  12. No littering.
  13. Waco Surf is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
  14. Music must be clean versions and kept at a reasonable volume.
  15. Dogs are allowed only in Lemur Lagoon and cabin areas, and must remain leashed.
    • Service animals are allowed throughout the park, but not in any bodies of water.
    • Staff may ask what task the service animal is trained to perform (ADA compliant).
  16. Smoking is prohibited in all bodies of water. Please step into an empty space to smoke.
  17. Offensive or graphic imagery or obscene language on clothing, accessories, or tattoos is not permitted and may result in removal from the property.

Lazy River Rules

  1. Every rider must have their own tube.
  2. No strings or ropes allowed.
  3. Absolutely no glass on property.
  4. Life jackets required for guests 52″ and under.
  5. No jumping out of the river — stay in your tube at all times.
  6. All trash must be placed in river-side bins.
  7. Swim diapers required for all diaper-dependent guests.
  8. Pregnant guests should consult a doctor before use.
  9. All guests must sign the waiver before participating.
  10. Music must be clean versions and at reasonable volume.
  11. Do not use the river if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  12. Smoking is prohibited in all bodies of water.

The Wedge Slides Rules

  1. Riders must be 44″ or taller.
  2. Life jackets required for all riders, regardless of age or ability.
  3. Wait for attendant’s countdown before starting.
  4. Keep arms, hands, legs, and feet inside rails at all times.
  5. Exit the landing zone quickly.
  6. No loose clothing or items; lost items may be retrieved after park close.
  7. No garments with exposed zippers, buckles, rivets, or metal details.
  8. Only one rider may enter the slide at a time.
  9. No jumping off handrails.
  10. Do not ride under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  11. Swim diapers required for diaper-dependent guests.
  12. Waiver must be signed prior to use.
  13. Pregnant guests must consult a doctor before use.
  14. Smoking is prohibited in all bodies of water.

Hot Tub Rules

  1. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult.
  2. Limit individual soak time to 20 minutes.
  3. Enter and exit slowly.
  4. No glass permitted.
  5. No jumping or diving.
  6. Swim diapers required for diaper-dependent guests.
  7. Elderly guests should consult a doctor before use.
  8. Do not enter if temperature exceeds 104°F.
  9. Do not enter if under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  10. Pregnant guests must consult a doctor before use.
  11. Waiver must be signed before use.
  12. Do not use the hot tub if you’ve had diarrhea in the past 2 weeks.
  13. No changing diapers within 6 feet of the pool.
  14. No extended breath-holding activities.
  15. Smoking is prohibited in all bodies of water.

Surf Lagoon Rules

  1. Only scheduled surfers may go past the second concrete ridge.
  2. All guests require a flotation device:
    • USCG life jacket or
    • Board leash attached to surfboard.
  3. Life jackets required for guests 52″ and under.
  4. If you fall, move out of the way quickly and take your equipment with you.
  5. Paddle toward the wall and use the current to return to the takeoff spot.
  6. No jumping or diving from the wall.
  7. No drones permitted.
  8. Children under 12 must be supervised.
  9. Waiver must be signed before participating.
  10. Abusive or profane language is not tolerated.
  11. Swim diapers required for diaper-dependent guests.
  12. Smoking prohibited in all bodies of water.

Lodging Rules

  1. Minimum age 21 to rent accommodations; proof of age required.
  2. A credit card on file will be authorized for $100 per day (up to $300) for incidentals or damages.
  3. Cancellations must be made by 3:00 PM Central Time, 2 days prior to arrival for refunds.
  4. Guests are responsible for personal items; Waco Surf is not liable for lost belongings.
  5. Do not move or remove any furniture, décor, linens, or equipment.
  6. Guests are financially responsible for any damage caused during their stay.
    • Lost key fee: $25.
  7. Check-in is 3:00 PM; check-out is 11:00 AM.
    • Late checkout available for $50/hour based on availability.
  8. No smoking in lodging units.
    • A $350 fee will apply if smoking is detected.
  9. Pet policy:
    • Only one dog per cabin (additional cleaning fee applies).
    • Dogs are not allowed in hotel rooms or houses, or near surf/water slide areas.
  10. Guest count may not exceed stated occupancy.
    • Cabins may allow one additional guest on a cot for $25.
